My face looks red after use.. is it too strong for me?

No, a little redness is completely normal just follow up with the Hydration Mist and Facial Oil and it should calm down within 10 minutes.

How do I know what the right consistency is?

You want a thin paste so that all the powder is absorbed and it smooths onto the face easily, think a thin custard or tahini type consistency.

I´ve run out of the rose water part but still have the powder, what else can I mix it with?

You can mix it with water, make a chamomile tea, a green tea, or most herbal teas will work (obviously let it cool!) you could even mix it with aloe vera juice.

Does it need to dry to work?

No not at all, it will still work if you leave it on for 5 minutes, you definitely don´t need to wait until it completely dries out if you don´t want to.

Do you have a less astringent mask? I feel this is too powerful for my skin.

This is the only face mask per se we have however you can use the cleanser/ make up remover as a face mask. Simply massage it into the face and leave it for 5- 10 minutes and emulsify it with water.

DIRECTIONS OF USE:
1. Mix 2 teaspoons of powder with 4 teaspoons of rose water forming a paste, apply this all over the face and neck (avoiding the eye area) leave for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water, follow up with the hydration mist and facial oil.
2. Apply as above and instead of rinsing with water remove with circular movements, this works as a manual exfoliating as well as detox.
3. Apply the dry powder onto fingertips and apply in circular movements onto a dry face, this is purely as an exfoliation treatment, but will leave you skin feeling so soft, rinse your face when finish and follow up with the Hydration Mist and Facial Oil.

Both the rose water and the powdered mask are preserved and are safe, but the reason we have them separate is because clays need much stronger preservatives once activated (i.e. mixed with water) so it is imperative to keep the powdered part dry and only mix what you are going to use straight away.
