Step 1
The first step starts with gently melting away make up and dirt build up from the day – yes even waterproof mascara!
Papaya and pineapple extracts penetrate deeply, helping to exfoliate dead skin cells and rejuvenate the skin.
The formulation helps to balance the skin´s sebum, so it is great for restoring moisture to dry skin and balancing oilier complexions.
Take a moment
The antiseptic and cleansing properties come from geranium and sweet orange essential oils, allowing you to take an aromatherapy moment.
A few deep breaths while massaging it into your face will help calm the stresses of the day.
Emulsify it away with water. If you tend to wear a lot of makeup, remove dry first, reapply and then emulsify.
Step 2 - Our double cleansing step
With our Geranium and Patchouli Soap, gently lather the soap on the entire face and rinse, keeping your eyes closed!
Step 3 - Face Mask
We´ve kept the Mini version of the Face Mask here as it is not an everyday-use product.
We have the big version available to purchase separately here.
The mask itself is bursting with antioxidants in various formats – baobab, green tea and spirulina powder, pomegranate and moringa oil, calendula extract and it also has detoxifying clays.
It smells spicy, sweet and earthy, all rolled into one!
Mix it with the rose water to create a paste, and leave it on your face for 10 minutes. Rinse off and follow up with the next step….
This is a once every 10 days / 2 weeks step don´t overdo it even though it might be tempting!
Step 4
Our Hydration Mist with Helichrysum & Kigelia, you've got your skin nice and clean and dry; simply spritz 3 or 4 sprays over the face and neck.
This is your intense hydration with water-soluble plant extracts that help your skin feel fresh, revitalised and rejuvenated.
Rose, helichrysum and neroli waters help to calm and tone the skin.
Kigelia and Centella Asiatica get to work on anything that needs healing – think spots, blemishes, scarring, broken capillaries – and are also rejuvenating and have a firming action.
Don´t dry your skin or let it dry, you want to follow straight up with our last step.
Step 5
(Or step 4 depending if you used the face mask or not ).
Apply our Calendula and Geranium Facial Oil directly over the top of the Hydration Mist, sealing it in and creating a protective barrier on your face.
You are locking in that hydration and then giving your skin a true antioxidant boost with this dry, fruit oil-based facial oil.
It sinks in quickly and can be used morning and night.
It won´t leave your face looking greasy.
For dry skin start with 4-6 drops and for more oily complexions start with 2 or 3 drops.
This product is packed full of nutrients and skin healing properties, anti-inflammatory calendula plays a key role in calming the skin along with the essential oil blend which helps calm and regenerate.
Tip:
Don´t forget to breathe in those essential oil blends too. They will help calm the day-to-day stresses, even if just momentarily.

I´ve run out of one product but I still have the others. Can I purchase them separately?
We do try to get the balance right in terms of you finishing each bottle at the same time, however with different usage rates it gets a bit tricky. Of course you can buy everything separately. The only thing we don´t sell separately and will only be part of a pack are the mini sizes.
Do you have to follow this sequence for the Ritual to work?
We have long learnt that everybody is going to do what they want! We recommend this sequence as it makes the most sense for your skin. If you want to do it differently that is completely up to you.
My skin needs a cream, there isn´t one here where do I put it in?
Technically with this Ritual you don´t need a cream as the Hydration Mist gives you the water-based actives and ingredients that you may find in a cream and by following it up with the facial oil you are applying all the oil-based actives and intense moisture, in essence creating a rudimentary cream. However, if you feel the need for a cream we would recommend applying it after the Hydration Mist and before the Facial Oil.
I´m wary of using soap on my face. Won´t it be too harsh?
Our soap, although a traditional soap, is gentle, as a personal testimonial the soap is the first thing that helped cleared Kathryn´s acne – she has used it as the only cleansing product on her face for the last 10 years (with the addition of the Cleanser / Make up remover since it has been developed!)
If you do not follow up with the hydration steps afterwards, your face may feel a little tight, but it is a great way to ensure that your face is clean, helping to stop the formation of dirt build up that can lead to black heads and spots.
Can I apply my make up straight after using the ritual in the morning, I don´t have a lot of time?
You absolutely can, if you can I would always try and wait five minutes or so just to let everything sink in and dry but if you don´t have time, go for it.
Will it work on my skin type?
Our Facial Ritual has been designed to work for all skin types, with varying applications. You rarely have the same skin type all your life – it can change throughout the month depending on your cycle, the temperature, and the climate. Not to mention stress levels and what you are eating! So we didn´t want to create lots of extra choice, when these products have proved themselves on all different skin types.

Geranium and Papaya Cleanser / Make UpRemover DIRECTIONS OF USE:
Gently massage a pumpful onto your fingertips and massage into a dry face and over your eyes using circular moments. After making sure it is massaged in well (30 seconds is enough) emulsify with water and follow up with our double cleansing step our Geranium and Patchouli Soap.
If you tend to wear a lot of make up we recommend applying as above and removing with a cotton pad or sustainable make up remover cloth. Reapply and emulsify as above.
Geranium & Patchouli Soap
DIRECTIONS OF USE:
Massage into damp skin to create a lather then wash off.
Face Mask and Rose Hydrosol
DIRECTIONS OF USE:
1. Mix 2 teaspoons of powder with 4 teaspoons of rose water forming a paste, apply this all over the face and neck (avoiding the eye area) leave for 10 – 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water, follow up with the hydration mist and facial oil.
2. Apply as above and instead of rinsing with water remove with circular movements, this works as a manual exfoliating as well as detox.
3. Apply the dry powder onto fingertips and apply in circular movements onto a dry face, this is purely as an exfoliation treatment, but will leave you skin feeling so soft, rinse your face when finish and follow up with the Hydration Mist and Facial Oil.Helichrysum & Kigelia Hydration Mist.
